General Department of Customs just issued official letter No. 6612/TCHQ-GSQL

dated on Oct 14, 2020 to instruct the customs departments of provinces and cities

to check the validity of C/O form AJ on the portal.

The authority that issues C/O form AJ of Japan informs the Portal confirming the

validity of the Certificate of Origin “EPA CO Reference System” at the link:

https://cts.jcci.or.jp/cec/origin.htm -> enter account and password → Select CO

Reference and enter C/O reference number, date of issue.

Instructions of the General Department of Customs are based on the provisions of

Clause 1, Article 4 of the Finance Ministry's Circular No. 47/2020/TT-BTC dated May 28, 2020, based on Note JF: 723/2020 dated Sep 18, 2020 and Note JF: 767/2020

dated Sep 30, 2020 by the Embassy of Japan in Hanoi.
