Declaration full quantity (1) and quantity (2) on customs declaration

Through an review on the professional system of Customs, the General Department of

customs discovered some mistakes in the classification of goods, applying tax rates at

some Local customs. To standardize the database of goods classification, ensure the

uniform application of commodity codes, the General Department of Customs issued

official letter No. 7203 / TCHQ-TXNK dated 11/11/2020, requesting Local customs guide

businesses to fully declare goods description to avoid information leading to incorrect

and inaccurate classification.

In addition, instructing enterprises to fully declare the quantity (1) and quantity (2) on the

customs declaration in accordance with the instructions in Appendix I of Circular No. 39/

2018 / TT-BTC dated April 20. 2018; inspect and review the declaration of the calculation

unit on the customs declaration of the customs declarant when examining the customs

dossier(for the yellow or red flow declaration) or checking after the goods have been

cleared(for green flow declarations).
